We are proud to announce that Yamato Transport (M) Sdn Bhd had emerged as the overall champion in the Courier and Postal Industry Reach Safely Championship 2017 (SDS), organized by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) with the cooperation of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, Road Safety Department and the Association of Malaysian Express Carriers.
The competition which was held on 18th and 19th November 2017 at the Shah Alam Bazarena Roundabout, focused on reducing the rate of road accidents and encouraging drivers towards building a professional career equipped with high level of proficiency.
Held for the fourth time since 2014, this year’s competition was participated by 12 local postal and courier companies.
Additionally, our team managed to bag 1st place in the Van Driver Category (Hafiz, Kepong branch) and 2nd place for both the Motorcycle Rider and Lorry Driver Categories (Adry, Kepong branch & Idwan, Cheras branch respectively).
